cord lets you decide who can speak to you and when. No unwanted messages, emails or phone calls.
You can use cord with one of two statuses: Open to opportunities or Not looking.
You can find the toggle in the top right of your profile.
The Open to opportunities status tells hiring managers you're interested in new opportunities while.
Not looking does the opposite.
cord doesn't currently support internships. Choosing internship as your work preference turns off messaging.
If you change your work preference to internship, your profile status will turn to Not Looking and you won't be able to message companies, as cord doesn't currently support internships. Permanent, part-time, fixed-term and freelance/contract roles are all supported. To turn messaging back on, change your work preference to any of those. Your visibility and status toggles will then work as normal.
