Profile status – People Knowledge Hub

cord lets you decide who can speak to you and when. No unwanted messages, emails or phone calls.

You can use cord with one of two statuses: Open to opportunities or Not looking.

You can find the toggle in the top right of your profile.

Profile status is independent from your profile visibility.

The Open to opportunities status tells hiring managers you're interested in new opportunities while.

Not looking does the opposite.

cord currently only supports permanent full-time positions, changing your preference to other options disables your ability to message companies.

If you changed your work preference in your account to part-time, freelance/contract or internship, your profile status will turn to Not Looking and you will be unable to message companies. If you are looking at permanent positions, definitely go ahead and update your work preference in your profile. The account visibility and open to opportunities toggles will be functional as well as the messaging function.
