As more people use cord, it is becoming increasingly important that people feel safe and have the tools to report/notify us or take immediate action if they need to.
How to report?
Anyone can report a conversation in the messaging interface (via More Settings > Report/Block).
Reason for reporting
We ask that you provide a reason for the report and some extra information to help us understand why you are submitting the report so that we can take the right actions.
Do companies get notified when reporting them?
The company you’ve reported will not know that you have reported them. Our team will investigate the report and take the appropriate action. We’ll keep you updated on the progress of the report and any actions we take.
Blocking
If you would like to take immediate action, you can also block the person you’re messaging. This will mean you can no longer message each other, and they’ll no longer be able to find your company’s positions on cord via search. The person you block will be able to see that you have blocked them, but they will not be provided with a reason.
